A NEW START

A NEW START
Every morning the sun rises with a new beginning -
Every morning we too rise to greet a new beginning -
As the sun faithfully runs its course each and everyday -
Will you and I too faithfully run our course each day?
No matter if the clouds are in the sky -
Thunderheads or puffy white tufts -
The sun continues to run its course faithful -
Never stopping - never complaining - just being faithful.
No matter what may be in the path today -
Sunshine, clouds of any kind, haziness or clarity -
Be encouraged , be faithful, continue forward one step at a time -
Not stopping, not complaining, but with gratitude and faithfulness!

The Influence of One's Thoughts

Reading in the book 'The Cloud of Unknowing' and it has some very provocative lines to ponder for sure.
Yesterday I read one on the power of one's thoughts. The challenge was to evaluate every thought and realize the impact that every one has on one's life behavior.
The second challenge in that same area was that one cannot have a thoughtless or careless attitude about anything that could lead one to sin if you are working on improving your spiritual life and walk.

ARE YOU PREPARED?

ARE YOU PREPARED?

One is always making preparations for one thing or another –

It may be a party, it may be a celebration,

It may have been expected or unexpected,

But there has been planning of some kind involved.

Sometimes the planning is quick and easy

Done in a few minutes, hours or days;

At other times the planning is long, extensive and intensive

Even to the point of some frustration and exhaustion at times.

There are many things here on this earth that we plan for -

Yet there is one event that many take little or no time to plan;

And in the end –

This is and will be the only event that really was worth planning for at all.

It is the celebration of our eternal destiny –

It is to be the grandest and greatest celebration of all time –

It will never have an ending and it will be full of eternal joy –

And it is all ready and waiting for the doors to be opened and people welcomed inside.

The invitations have been sent –

Each and every person on this earth has been given one –

The only preparation one needs to do is to respond and say ‘yes’ to God –

Accept His forgiveness, love Him and live for Him until He calls us to the celebration!

Have you responded with a ‘yes’ to His invitation –

If not –

Why not do it today –

You will be eternally grateful that you did!

My Heart

My heart is sometimes misunderstood to be a blood-pumping organ -

Which in fact it may be -

However my heart is also that part of me deep within

That longs for a true love relationship with someone/something.

Wandering about in this world looking for the answer -

Often left to wonder - and possibly even somewhat confused -

What and when and how?

And then one day it happens -

There is a touch deep within -

It cannot be explained in words

Or even understood with the mind -

But it is love - yes, it is love

As my Creator God enwraps me totally in His presence for a time.

I love You, God!
